Thinking about Susan Kiefel made me think a lot about all of the inspiring women in my life, I know with no doubt that this quote by President Adams is a true refelction of them.

I thought this was particularly felicitous following on from post relating to career changes and finding out what it is you really want to be doing. Whatever your line of work is or becomes it should still challenge you. Work should always push us, make us slightly uncomfortable in some way. Not consistently but definitely regularly. This is the only way we grow and evolve as people. So make sure you continue to stretch yourselves.
I went looking for quotes on female friendships this week and was saddened by the amount of negative or passive aggressive quotes on the beauty of female friendships. I truly believe that as women we thrive together and there is a desire in all women to have deep, meaningful, nourishing friendships with each other. That these kinds of friendships are in deed the norm. Be careful of what you post to social media, something that seems sweet or inline with your beliefs can also suggest that everybody else indeed does not share your values. We should all make an effort to remove the generalisation from society that woman are nasty, competitive, or backstabbing to each other. Our relationships with each other is one of the truly wonderful things about being a woman. #ImWithHer
This week's quote was selected as I was looking for inspiration for making key decisions in my life. I fell in love with the words and the image and thought its was just the little bit of inspo I needed, a nudge in the right direction. Enjoy! x
